Is there a way to get the chiclet without the automatic < li > embed from javascript? The reason is issues with Wordpress sidebar, etc. Most themes add a marker or arrow of sorts for < li > and it just looks wrong with the Chiclet. I actually had to embed a second sidebar under the original sidebar, with different CSS to remove the graphic object... a pain, and I'm sure I wouldn't be so lucky with other website formats. Just curious.
Currently the chicklet code can't be customized. The easiest solution to the problem (sounds like you already discovered it), is to override the CSS that comes with the chicklet with contextual selectors http://reference.sitepoint.com/css/selectorgrouping doing something like this:
